Who is on the lookout for the best vegan ranch recipe? I am such a big fan of making my own vegan condiments. It’s so easy to whizz up amazing sauces, like this vegan nut free pesto or this cherry vinaigrette, whether it’s for a dressing, or a sharing platter.
I recently made a vegan cobb salad and it just couldn’t be complete without vegan ranch dressing. You only need a handful of ingredients for this recipe and a few minutes of your time.
Vegan Ranch Dressing Recipe
What I like about this recipe is you can sub the main ingredient (mayo) with either soaked cashews or plain vegan yoghurt. It’s more about the additional seasoning that goes into the mix.
I see the mayo or (cashews / vegan yoghurt) as the base. I used a teaspoon of dried dill, but you could also use fresh dill if you have some. As you can see in the picture below, I added a teaspoon of onion powder and garlic powder.

Have you seen our vegan mayo recipe? It’s completely plant based!
The tanginess of the ranch is created with the apple cider vinegar. Like I mentioned, I used half a cup of mayo, you can use your base according to your taste and preferences.
I added some chives for an element of freshness in the ranch dressing. And finally a 1/4 a cup of oat milk, soya would also be fine.

There is nothing worse than hauling out (and cleaning) your big ‘oul’ blender to make a sauce. I love using my mini chopper, it’s perfect for condiments, especially if you are using cashews or small amounts of ingredients.
