This vegan iced coffee recipe is simple, delicious and refreshing. Perfect for kickstarting the day, as a pick me up or to accompany a delicious vegan brunch.

I’m not sure about you but vegan iced coffee and Taro Bubble Tea is an absolute staple for me during the summer. Rather than starting the day with a hot mug of caffeinated goodness, I prefer to opt for the iced version.
This vegan iced coffee recipe is refreshing but also very simple to make!
You can totally be your own barista with this easy method. There are no fancy ingredients – meaning you probably have all you need to make it.
All you need is:
- Coffee
- Ice
- Plant based milk
- Vanilla essence
- Sugar (optional)

Coffee
Whether you choose a delicious cold brew coffee or a good quality instant coffee for speed, this drink is all good.
Cold brew coffee is meant to be less acidic and friendlier to your gut – however it takes some preparation – up to 12 hours beforehand!
I have used my favourite instant coffee for this recipe. Being mum to two little ones – an 11 week old included, I needed something quick and easy!

I have also previously used my stovetop coffee maker for a stronger, richer tasting vegan iced coffee.
You can totally choose your own favourite coffee to make this vegan iced drink.

Plant Based Milk
Everyone has their own favourite plant based milks for coffee. My favourite plant based milk for coffee has to be oat milk as I find it super creamy.
Coconut milk and almond milk are also great choices for a vegan iced coffee.
Sugar
Whether you like a sweetened iced coffee or not – its totally up to you! This recipe only used one teaspoon of sugar.
This recipe makes one glass, however you can totally increase the volume to serve the amount you require.

Vanilla
This recipe adds one teaspoon of vanilla essence for deliciousness. However many people enjoy adding flavoured Coffee Syrup.
