Ingredients for Oreo Overnight Oats

These cookie and cream overnight oats are vegan, nut free – made with a few simple ingredients.

  • 1 cup Oats
  • 3/4 cup Oat milk
  • 1/2 cup Coconut yoghurt
  • 4 Oreos

Ingredients Notes

Oats

The best kind of oats are rolled oats for sure, they soak up the liquid and give a more creamy texture. Unfortunately whole oats give a more coarse finish.

Milk

This recipe uses an oat milk. However if you are having trouble knowing what plant based milk is for you, then this article might be of help.

I am pretty sure any plant based milk such as coconut, almond or soya would work well.

Oreos

Oreos are the classic cookie used to achieve a delicious cookie and cream flavour. However regular, vegan chocolate chip cookies would work just fine.

Yogurt

This oreo overnights oats recipe uses coconut yoghurt as it is creamy, feels luxurious and replicates a creamy texture perfectly.

It also is a bit more rigid than other vegan yogurts which can be quite runny.

A vegan greek yogurt could work well also. I also really enjoy vanilla soya yogurt in my overnight oats.
